Museums around the world are built next to historical monuments.

We read the following from our mayor.

The recording and promotion of this participation is the goal of the proposal we have submitted to the program of Antonis Tritsis for the creation of a Digital History Museum entitled “Heroes Imprints”, which will host natural and digital exhibits.

The museum in question, which will be located in Paralio Astros, will present the events, the protagonists, the stations and their timeless influences that took place from the end of the 18th century until the founding of the Greek state. “

Museums around the world are built next to historical monuments.

The Acropolis Museum was not built in Piraeus, but next to the Acropolis.

We hope that the common mind will prevail and that the proposed Digital Museum will be located next to the “Sacred Space” of the Second National Assembly. It can be housed in the Zafeiris Foundation, in the Karytsiotis school with the other exhibits or temporarily in another neighboring building.

All over the world such plans become public and public, with public consent. We wish the mayor to publicly submit the plans and proposals for the proposed Digital Museum and to listen to the local communities, who will surely submit their justified proposals.

We believe that the common mind will prevail and the Board. of the municipality will decide with reasons for the unique and normal position of the proposed museum with the proposals of the local community.

Everything must be made public, obvious and in writing.

It is our opinion if we ever build a museum in our municipality, its only location is Karytsioti Square, next to the “Sacred Space” of the Second National Assembly of the Greeks.

Any other choice will be an eternal shame, a great disgrace, a stigma that will never go away.

We publicly ask our mayor and the Board. of the municipality to calmly listen to the local community and decide accordingly. Such decisions require the approval and participation of the local community and we must never decide hastily and secretly.

Otherwise the next municipal authority will finally decide with a program approved by our conspirators. The location of the museum in our place, in a relatively small society, is a big issue and we all have to say our opinion and it is not right, ethical and logical to 2-3 people decide, whoever they are.

We remind you of the Archaeological Museum of Astros.

With the YPPOT / DAVMM / 91790 2329 BC-12-01-2011 decision was approved the “Study for the Removal of the Archaeological Museum of Astros with conditions (ΑΔΑ-4Α9Γ-99) and on 22-04-2013 the Programmatic Cultural Development Agreement was signed for the execution of the project between the former YPAITHPA, the Peloponnese Region and the Municipality of North Kynouria. The approved works started in April 2014 and were completed in December 2015.

On 12-1-2011 with ΑΔΑ-4Α9Γ-99 the Ministry of Culture set the terms of the project including the following.

“8. To prepare a complete and integrated study <architecture, statics, H-M> for the fixing and restoration of the monument for its operation as a modern museum”.

“.… .Ἀ) Checking the static adequacy of the bearing body and a complete study of fixing and restoration of the monument that will determine the necessary repair and reinforcement works such as… ..”

On 22-7-2016 with the document Α.Π. ΥΠΠΟΑ / ΓΔΑΠΚ / ΕΦΑ ΑΡΚΑΔΙΑΣ 244604/146538/2951, among others it states “εγκ The approved works started in April 2014 and were completed in December 2015…”. ”After all the above approved works, the antiquities were repositioned and in the exhibition area. The Museum is ready to reopen but there is no permanent daily staff “….

The mayor and the responsible deputy mayor have been “chewing” them for a long time, we will see, we will wait, mercy now.

We demand from the Board. of our municipality to tell us today publicly, in writing and clearly the truth, about the Archaeological Museum of Astros.

Our electronic society, the future of the world, “1984” and the “Brave New World”

“If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot crushing a human face – forever.” George Orwell

In the 1960s, humanity and the world’s youth got tired of the status quo, had enough…, and decided to put the slogan “to change the world” on the table again… ..

In our then worries about the future of the world, it made sense to find two books, almost fifty-five years ago, that spoke of the future of humanity, first George Orwell in 1984 and Aldous Huxley in The Brave New World. George Orwell and Aldous Huxley were fellow students at the same university in England and were influenced by each other. They dealt with the same issue but came to different conclusions.

“The Brave New World” was published in 1932. It takes place in London in the distant future 2540 AD. and describes an imaginary society, drawing on two sources of inspiration: the mental extension of the scientific and social trends of the time ”. “Huxley’s nightmare, described in The Brave New World, was that we would be destroyed by things that please us.” Otherwise an old friend called relevant human behaviors “on the path of pleasure and doom” …….

“In this world no one gets sick, there are no wars” Aldous Huxley

“The rulers of the Brave New World have succeeded in making people love their enslavement.”

In Orwell’s world, war never stops, it reminds you of something….

Orwell feared that the things we feared about the state would destroy us. The system and the state surveillance mechanism, “Big Brother is Watching.”

He wrote “1984” for many years and it was published in 1949, they say from the previous year 1948… he made the typographical mistake “1984”…

George Orwell made a very big mistake, he wrote the book, because he was afraid, so that we would wake up and not do everything he wrote. He is the only writer in humanity who with his thoughts led humanity to the exact opposite result from what he wanted.

All people of spirit write books and texts to influence people in the way they think. Unlike Orwell, the state. the system and the powers copied, followed, applied and apply today faithfully and dynamically all his fears and thank him for opening their eyes and becoming more royal than the king

“We would say, then, that on the Orwellian front, we are doing quite well, as the recent revelations of Edward Snowden have shown. We have built a state surveillance mechanism that would take Orwell’s breath away. ” George Orwell made a very big mistake…., Wrote the book.

“War is peace, freedom is slavery, ignorance is power”

“George Orwell began writing in the 1940s about the then distant 1984, about the future as he imagined it.

“1984 as a date may be a thing of the past, but Orwell’s book will forever represent ‘The Future’ as everything has been set in motion almost as predicted.”

It has been reported that Orwell wrote “1984” and criticized a particular political system, which may be true, but today the book is more about “the state, the system and all power.”

“1984 is not a novel or a simple novel; it is a creepily accurate prophecy about the future of the world, a manifesto, it is the narration of the solitary and timeless battle of the individual with the system, a methodically structured, almost indestructible mechanism, aimed at to the absolute control and abolition of every freedom – every real freedom, that which springs from the objective gaze and personal thought ”.

Unlike the Huxley world in the Orwellian world, war never stops, remember. Afghanistan, <Russians and Americans>, Shah in Persia, Egypt, Algeria, Libya, Iraq, Syria and refugees or migrants fleeing to escape the bombs… and it is our fault that we do not pay attention to them… they oppress ”, we forgot… it’s nothing great…

The book covers in great detail two issues of double thinking <Doublethink> (or lies) and the ruthless surveillance of citizens by the Power System, <Big Brother is Watching>. Citizens constantly see Big Brother’s face, everywhere, on their televisions, in the coins they use, who watches everyone non-stop, even in their tender moments.

“Doublethink> is the ability to hold two completely contradictory beliefs at the same time and to believe that they are both true. Orwell defines the double part as: To know and not to know, to realize the complete truth, while saying carefully constructed a lie, to hold at the same time two views that are annulled, knowing that they are contradictory and believing in both. Perhaps the most obvious example of double-mindedness in 1984 can be found in the names of the party’s four ministries. They include the Ministry of Spirit that oversees the lack of resources, the Ministry of Peace that declares and conducts war, the Ministry of Love that abolishes harsh punishments and torture, and the Ministry of Truth that spreads propaganda and revises historical facts.

State violence, double thinking and the big lies of the state and the system are not discoveries of Orwell and Huxley, but have been discussed by many since antiquity, such as Aeschylus and Thucydides, just nothing ever changes, as long as there are spoons …. and power chairs.

In the best book of humanity in Prometheus, the great tragedian Aeschylus deals with the state that represents violence.

We read and listen to the press every day the “experts” who did what science and change the meaning of words and facts, as it suits them best, because in fact they talk about their own chairs.

Our respected professor Kyriakos S. Katsimanis, Assistant Professor in the Department of Philosophy of the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Athens, emphasizes us.

“In general, semantic distortion is promoted by the introduction of words that are widely used, but their semantic content has not been precisely determined, which is, of course, not at all accidental 28. Thucydides outlines the distorting effects of the use of moral and political crisis in of language: “and the eloquent claim of the names in the works they realized justified” changed the established meaning of the words depending on how it suited them. ” page 11

I recently went to a big mall in our neighborhood to walk, we say big since it refers to a good day visited by 100,000 customers (not an exaggeration but statistics) to “have fun” and “consume”. I sat in a place to rest and six adult men happened to be sitting next to me. I noticed everyone and all six had phones and were talking non-stop or writing messages for half an hour…, I left and went a little further down, there I saw a very old gentleman, say 80, talking on his phone, he was finishing the conversation, he was putting the phone on in his pocket, he took it out, he spoke again, and then the same violin many times for a long time; the next day I went to the mall again and saw again the same, different six gentlemen, the same old gentleman as he was the day before, Or if we go again we will definitely find them there to talk and send messages.

https://shopsquareone.com/shop/embed/#?secret=m5FuiW2pEp

At home the phone rings incessantly even at midnight, they are salesmen from India who work for commercial companies in Canada and America, maybe even England… <certainly not India> and they sell everything even air is beaten. We have found a way to slowly block the phones or when we see the number for the first time, it seems that it is not a number we know, not to answer. Everyone does what they like and it is their right. We know someone who has made two programs to avoid phone annoyances which are very effective, he does not give his phone to anyone but his family and he never answers any strange number if he they really want to find him..or let them sell to others.

We turn on the TV and we are bombarded every day with relentless brainwashing and “fake news”, in the past they used to say “the newspaper also wrote”, today we say “they said on TV” and “I read on the internet”. Each of us sells our puppetry and each of us defends as much as we can. Let us mention here a true way of proper defense and freedom from washing. In the crisis in 2009 we opened Greek television in Canada, we saw a teacher we knew from our student years and we were interested to hear the discussion about the crisis, we talked then if we will survive as a state for another week and what will happen to me tables and pensions of 345 euros. The presenter talked about the subject and our professor, who in 1968 licked the junta, went to the post-colonial era where he had spoons. We are not finished… the presenter then presented a teacher’s book about the crisis… he showed it all. Here our homeland was burning and they were selling books, watch out for the crisis… I thought of getting up and calling them immediately .. I would lose my words. I turned off the TV before the sale and washing were over and immediately called the company to cut the channel and since then I have never turned on Greek TV and I have not lost anything… and I have won the expenses of the channel. I want to emphasize that these are not stories, they are facts.

We will also come to the issue of our electronic society.

New “technology”, computers and the internet in general is something very “smart” and you can achieve a lot with one condition, to use them properly. Experts say accordingly “You take out garbage you will take out garbage” <GIGO>. It basically has a memory, it remembers everything and it is a vast repository of data that wait at no cost to those who want it and who can use it wherever they want, it also makes sense … but these are fine words for others. Computers are a great discovery for humanity, something like the fire of Prometheus, which is why everyone speaks with the best words and admiration for the “new technology”.

Computers are a great discovery for humanity, something like the fire of Prometheus. That is why everyone speaks with the best words and admiration for the “new technology”.

But in life there are always two sides to every coin, the pound and the crown. The same with the new technology, if not used properly, or worse if some others do not use it properly it will get us in trouble.

We have been using computers for 30-35 years and a lot has changed so fast, but at the same time our social behavior has changed.

In the 1950s in Agiannis it was beautiful in the village. There was excellent social contact and mutual respect with everyone and everything, at festivals, in churches, in everyday life in the precincts of the precursor and in Soulinari, in joys and sorrows. We respect their elders, they were all barbarians and aunts (uncles) and aunts).

During the holidays we wore our “goodies”, we went to the church and to the dances, which everyone danced in the square, if we had any drachma we drank an orange juice. We are happy and happy for what we had and we did not know better, nor did we want to know. We had it all and it was enough, they just did not have money but we do not need it… ..

Today in our “electronic society” we have lost our humanity, our dignity and our goals. Hidden behind an electronic screen we have forgotten our neighbors and mutual respect, we are demanding and hostile to other screens that are “things”. We behave in a way that we are not, we know it well but we do and we would not do it in a square or a cafe full of people. But behind a screen no one sees us, only a screen, we do not know what respect and kindness means, we want everything now for ourselves.

Today we all read new social behaviors

Bullying

Bullying refers to the physical and psychological abuse or reduction of weaker individuals in a group. Despite the impression of some that it is exclusively a school phenomenon, in fact it appears in all ages and social groups

School Bullying, Cyberbullying, Harassment, Moral Harassment, Personal Attack

Forms of cyberbullying

• Repeated sending of electronic or telephone messages

• Interference and harassment of any online activity of the individual

• Log in to the individual online personal accounts

• Sending photos of the person or other type of recorded material

• Sending personal information of the person to multiple recipients

• Sending threatening messages to other people pretending to be the bully

• Motivation of third parties for online monitoring and harassment of the person

https://el.wikipedia.org/wiki/%CE%94%CE%B9%CE%B1%CE%B4%CE%B9%CE%BA%CF%84%CF%85%CE%B1%CE%BA%CF%8C%CF%82_%CE%B5%CE%BA%CF%86%CE%BF%CE%B2%CE%B9%CF%83%CE%BC%CF%8C%CF%82

See more views of Orwell and Huxley below.

“Now many parts of the world are monitored 24/7 with our permission and wishes.

We even went one step further, as we voluntarily upload almost all of our personal information to online databases, even where we are and what we do at all times.

And we like it.

The citizen of 1984 as well as that of “2020 μπορεί” may not be restricted by chains but his access to information is so controlled and distorted that he is subject to constant brainwashing and wears blinds without his knowledge, he is pathologically stunned, it is enough to He loves the “System”, to embrace every truth that it feeds him and to hate the enemies that it points out to him.

Thinking in 1984 is a crime punishable by death .

Love is a crime punishable by death.

Knowledge is a crime punishable by death.

The falsification of free thought stems from the program of “language purification” and the establishment of the “New Speech”. What is being done in essence is the reinterpretation of the words so that their real meaning is distorted and again suits the interests of the System ……………………… ..

“Or the purpose of the New Speech is to narrow the boundaries of thought. In the end we will make the crime of thought literally impossible, because there will be no words to express it… “

A complete alteration of the language takes place, so that the words are cut off from their original meaning and the result is that they ultimately mean something completely different.

The motto of the system is:

“If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot crushing a human face – forever.”

This boot represents as you understand the current power and the forces of repression which is a work that we know.

But kicking in the face does not only represent the pain, humiliation and enslavement of the individual, but also the catalysis of difference, of particularity.

Big Brother is the one you see everywhere, it is the eyes that are constantly watching you through cameras and microphones, he is the one who exercises absolute control.

And man adores him convinced that all this is the absolute truth and necessary for his good.

No one knows if Big Brother really exists as an individual, as a material leader, or as an invisible force that moves the threads.

Winston Smith tried to resist. To fall in love, to learn, to record, to understand in contrast to the majority of his hypnotized colleagues.

The moment he fell into the trap of the mechanism, in the face of the collapse of everything, he finally finds the courage to ask to satisfy his curiosity:

– Is there an older brother?

-Of course there is. The “System” exists. It is the embodiment of the “system”

-Yes, but I mean, does it exist as I exist?

– You do not exist.

“Because one of the ironies of history is that aspects of our cyber future bear similarities to the imaginative nightmares of Huxley and his fellow Eton classmate George Orwell.

“Brave New World” was published in 1932. It takes place in London in the distant future 2540 AD. and describes an imaginary society, drawing on two sources of inspiration: the mental extension of the scientific and social trends of the time

As an intellectual fascinated by science, he guessed that scientific progress would give people powers that were considered the exclusive prerogative of the gods.

And it is true that the ability of the Internet to facilitate such surveillance is what has attracted the most attention. In the meantime, however, we have forgotten Huxley’s intuition. We have not noticed that our love for digital games, our insatiable appetite for Facebook, Google and other “free” services offered to us in exchange for our personal data, can prove to be as powerful a drug as “soma” for its inhabitants. Brave New World.

Huxley Dystopia is a totalitarian society ruled by a supposedly benevolent dictatorship whose citizens are programmed to enjoy their obedience by manipulating their behavior and using a soma drug that is far more enjoyable than any other. we know today. The rulers of the Brave New World have succeeded in making people love their enslavement. ”

The “Brave New World” of our time goes to the shops of their neighborhood to “have fun” and “consume”, but there are no words in the shops, now we have a new mute language, as shown in the photos there are no names and letters in stores. People are dumb …… ..because it was lost, with the electronic media that keep us busy, excellent social contact and mutual respect with everyone and everything as we had before… and we will see much worse in a generation, as soon as we started the descent that Aldous Huxley feared.

“Brave New World” is more tragic than “1984”

The rulers of the Brave New World have succeeded in making people love their enslavement.

The American Republic then and now. “Mr President, you must resign, you do not even have my vote.”

Liberal democracy, which is still a one-way street, is now in a global test and the causes are deep, which we must find, understand and change course. We are faced with the inviolable rules of nature, after evolution follows decline, whoever has will lose and all empires (and lifestyles) will one day collapse to come new.

American hegemony began to crumble from the deep crisis of democracy and its institutions. Needless to say, it’s an indisputable fact that everything that happens in America affects world culture. “The American Challenge” is here in front of us, it does not go away, we all watch it unjustifiably and irrationally and follow it faithfully. It is a global pandemic of moral, social, political and economic.

When President Nixon was in his last days and he realized that his days in the presidency were numbered, like an old experienced lawyer he announced to the American people the famous “I am not a swindler”. His last hope of survival was the then far-right Senate leader Goldwater. Nixon called him to the White House to persuade him to support him in the Senate and save him from his impending ouster from the presidency.

The far-right senator had earlier been criticized for his political views by the American people with the worst presidential defeat in American history by President Johnson in 1964 (61.1% vs 38.5%) Despite his overwhelming defeat in the 1964 presidential election, many and historians believe he laid the groundwork for the conservative revolution that followed, as the Republican Party’s grassroots organization and conservative conquest began a long-term adjustment in American politics.

The far-right senator then showed the way to President Nihon in a brief process. “Mr President, you must resign, you do not even have my vote.” After meeting with far-right Senator Goldwater, President Nixon soon moved into the closet of history.

Fifty years ago and many centuries ago in public life these were self-evident to everyone, even to an extreme right-wing senator.

Today there is another moral and different political life that society tolerates and still applauds. The current leader in the Republican senate, Senator McConnell, and the party leadership publicly and loudly condemn in the senate and respectively in the parliament the actions of former President Trump for the events of January 6, 2021, but do not vote for his resignation. concequenses. With this current moral and new political life, there will never be a president’s referral for anything. As a result, everything is allowed and it is possible today and in the future for an individual to drastically and catalytically influence American democracy and its institutions.

But before we get to Senator McConnell and his absurdly unwarranted political behavior with all its consequences, we must look to us.

In the only true ancient Greek democracy there were the rules ¨pan the measure of excellence¨, the Greek measure and the public interest.

Today the rules have changed and even the word democracy has been distorted, as it is in everyone’s interest, the exaggeration has replaced “perfect in every way” and the public interest has become the private interest.

The Fourth Power and our canal masters no longer tell us the facts. but their opinion on some …. facts and what raises the view for a unique purpose of their own, advertising and money.

Participation has become “institutionalized bribery” and institutionalized lobbying, which catalyzes the public interest and democratic life, since they work for specific interests in an institutionalized, open and abusive manner.

We condemn discrimination, but at the same time we institutionalize groups. We have beyond the racial, religious groups even a progressive parliamentary group that recently tells us shamelessly that if we do not vote for their additional issues, blackmailing everyone and the progressive democracy, it will not vote for what is right and necessary and has agreed earlier to vote for them.

President Biden ironically and succinctly showed the crap of American democracy, saying we have fifty senators who make presidents … and deliberately did not mention the progressive groups and every MP …..

“And he sees money and without it nothing is born of the proper”

Demosthenes used to say about money that without it nothing can be done … but we paraphrase it and say that all the suffering we have today is done for money and our private interest.

Voltaire warned us briefly. “Do not think that money does everything or you will end up doing everything for money.”

The big problem of democracy today is we have forgotten the common interest and working with the public has become a profession and self-promotion, for us and our descendants.

If we want to survive as a society and as a nation we must soon find again the feeling of shame and the trial of Protagoras… ..

The limited term for all public functions has its roots in Protagoras’ positions on democracy, because in Protagoras there are no “experts”, professional politicians, to speak exclusively and as it suits them for shame and justice.

“Happy are the free and free are the brave.”

The happiness of people and the purpose of life are the great issues of philosophy that have been discussed endlessly for millennia. To date, people have not actually agreed on something they really want and do not know how to get.

We will borrow the views of great thinkers that people know but strangely do not even want to discuss and do not follow.

From the Epitaph of Pericles.

“The blissful the free, the fourth the free the soulful”.

In the modern Greek language: “Happy are the free and free are the brave”.

Andreas Kalvos reports.

“Freedom requires virtue and courage.”

From the following link see the comments about Kalvos.

http://thesecretrealtruth.blogspot.com/2016/06/blog-post_729.html#ixzz5M39fb0Op

“No psychological satisfaction and no dream comes true without boldness and courage”

Epikouros reports briefly.

“Most people are unhappy because they are sad about what they do not have and are not happy about what they have”

“It is not possible to live happily if one does not live wisely, morally and justly, just as one cannot live wisely, morally and justly if one does not live happily”

“The universe is infinite. We are not at the center of the universe, but we are one of the innumerable worlds of a vast universe. ”

We understand, “we are not the center of the world”, we are very insignificant. You can not live in a happy world if you are not happy with your life

People’s happiness at least presupposes the existence of universal freedom and the lack of nonsense.

Human freedom is multifaceted.

Freedom is usually referred to as national or political. A people has been liberated from its conquerors or we are politically free to vote for whomever we want.

Human freedom is multifaceted and touches all areas of our daily lives. Freedom is moral, spiritual, social, economic, political.

Freedom cannot be a giver but must be earned daily by everyone in all areas of life and presupposes courage and daily struggle to be maintained. People’s misery is mainly due to the lack of freedom in all areas of our daily lives. Financial freedom, which we all do so much for, is not enough to make people happy, but it is a good start. But a lot of work is needed in all the above areas.

People’s stupidity is the source of misery.

Silly people often base their happiness on fancy and insignificant “ornaments” to impress their fellow human beings, who by definition alone bring doom, destruction and more misery as insignificant.

Fools do not know how to be happy on their own and give everything to others to make them happy and when others do what they think and do not transfer happiness to the fools who wait, the fools sink into greater misery and wait for others to do their own thing, because they themselves do not want to and cannot.

“The problems of democracy today ”and the weapons of Democracy and society.

Pericles in the above photo says to the Athenian citizens:

“Because we alone consider the one who does not participate in these <communities> not a peaceful one, but a useless citizen”

Some of Kastoriadis’ views on Democracy, for all of us to learn: we comment on them as much as we can.

1) The Republic of Athens

Plato’s Protagoras tells us: “You see that when the Athenians want to decide in their church how to build the ships or how to build the walls, or the temples, they call the experts and listen to them and if no non-expert wants to take the floor yoke him.

“But when it comes to discussing the general political affairs of the city, whoever speaks and everyone listens carefully.”

“That is, all the basic decisions that concern the future of society – because this is the government, I rule, I say I make decisions about what needs to be done, either as projects or as activities – must belong to society as a whole.” As we say differently, the people are sovereign.

2) Representative democracy today

In our state of representative democracy, the people can and do elect the deputies at regular intervals, etc. The delegates exercise either the executive or the legislative power. The people end up believing something like that.

“But everyone else is an expert, they are commendable, they know! Let those who know decide! … ”

What are our MPs doing?

“Once irrevocable representatives have been elected, the first and foremost job of these irrevocable representatives – unless we believe in Santa Claus – is to secure their re-election. Everything else is secondary ”.”

What citizens do

A French political philosopher of the last century… says the Athenians in the time of Pericles “they had this political passion, while we say here and I quote verbatim translating,” all we seek from the state is the securing of our pleasures “. And he says it neither categorically nor ironically, he says it because he knows modern people. “

3) The Greek “measure” and the correct “mediocrity”

In the Republic of Athens, the citizens: “There is only one way to acquire it, is to exercise political power, to discuss and make decisions, it is of course the complete opposite of the modern perception that prevailed and not the ancient reason the idea that “Democracy is representation, or representation.”

In a representative democracy today, our MPs, “They are therefore responsible, but they are constantly revoked and they are obliged to give an account of what they did to their constituents.”

What citizens should do

“We must say that there is a responsibility of the people in what is happening today,” he said. We say this to remind citizens that what happens, happens with their participation and complicity… .. What is needed today is the continuous creative activity of the public,… .. is this passion for the commons, the responsibility, the participation, the “policeman orga,

Citizens must ask institutional questions to our Members and propose ideas and solutions. We have to do this and if we do not do it, others will decide for us and the sharks for us and “others will do it worse than us”.

Citizens need to throw away their political identities and start taking positions on specific issues as they see them, rather than letting others decide for them.

What should our Members do:

Our MPs must inform the citizens and in moderation, where there are no exaggerations, listen to the citizens and answer the questions of the citizens. The real leaders must come forward, they must lead and they must take positions.

4) These small issues say a lot.

We have institutionally asked our 3 deputies to ask questions to the competent ministers on three issues that we consider important. a) the “Holy Space” of the 2nd National Assembly, the courtyard of the Archaeological Museum of Astros, the Archaeological Museum of Astros b) the exclusion of reductions for the pensions of MPs and elected officials in the Local Authorities and c) our transparency and debt, we ate other topics that we do not forget. We have also asked five ministers about our debt, when we ate them (two of them are active politicians today Mr. Tsakalotos and Mr. Konstantinopoulos, the other 3 are not active politicians today).

We have not received an answer, Everyone, not even out of elementary courtesy, did not answer us that at least they received our questions, as all politicians around the world do .. (To be fair, only Mr. Vlasis once He replied that we would find the answers to the debt “on the websites of both the Hellenic Statistical Authority and Eurostat”, and when we asked about the links we did not get an answer, and we did not find the answers to our questions).

What does their refusal to take a stand mean? Citizens will be forced to draw their own conclusions.

We wonder if they do not want the “Holy Space” or the courtyard of the Karytsiotis school open? why don’t they cut the chains of shame at the doors of the “Holy Space” with their own hands with pliers? why not do something once and take a brush once a year to paint the damaged road signs?

We wonder why all our politicians do not tell us when we ate them and they want us to forget the exception from the reductions of the parliamentary pensions.

D) The “Holy Space” of the 2nd National Assembly of the Greeks, the courtyard of the Archaeological Museum of Astros and the Archaeological Museum of Astros.

Subject: When will the three spaces finally open? The “Holy Space” of the Second National Assembly, the courtyard of the Karytsiotis School and the Archaeological Museum of Astros;

“Main deputies of Arcadia

We know that we have to build Romeiko in the area and in the sector we are in and we all have to take public positions on all issues.

We are waiting for a public intervention for the Archaeological Museum of Astros and the Sanctuary of the Second National Assembly of the Greeks, from the mayor and our three deputies, whatever it is, let the archeological service decide for us, we must tell them what do we want.

Let us immediately open at least the “Holy Space” of the Second National Assembly of the Greeks, we can do this without spending anything, not even a single euro …… “

1. B) Except for reductions, the pensions of deputies and elected members in the Local Authorities

“Our deputies legislate and exclude themselves from reductions in pensions for themselves, from reductions that are made for everyone, even for our farmers with a pension of 345 euros. We wonder how much is the pension of our deputies or how many pensions everyone spends and makes ducks and says nothing about the exception of this unconstitutional law. We are not talking here about their earnings that should have been reduced by 30% since 2009 for symbolic reasons, no one thought about it.

For what is still happening today after so many memoranda, we say that the crisis is mainly a moral crisis “

“Exception window for parliamentary pensions is revealed in the application of the provisions of the insurance law 4387.”…

“This neglect creates a huge gap in the law, which leaves open the window of exclusion of parliamentary pensions from the provisions of the law. Nobody knows today in the General Accounting Office (Ministry of Finance) whether the national and the contributory pension will be applied and how especially for the elected, as well as whether the salaries of those who already receive a parliamentary pension or pension of mayor, deputy mayor should be recalculated and reduced. , prefect, etc. ”

For those who want to see details let’s see the link.

http://www.iefimerida.gr/news/325906/ektos-meioseon-oi-syntaxeis-voyleyton-kai-aireton-stoys-ota

C) Now that we have or must have transparency for everything and our debt.

“We ask and ask the Minister of Finance Mr. Hardouvelis and the Deputy Minister of Development Mr. Konstantinopoulos, now that we have or must have transparency for everything, to give us the numbers on a permanent basis, on a web page, from 1999 until today, and always from now on, for Public Debt, Debt Increase, GDP,% of GDP, Revenue, Expenditure, Interest, civil servants, to draw our own conclusions and to have the official data. ” .

Sometimes it is useful to look at the numbers, and to draw our own conclusions, without analysis by any “experts”, who always serve some interests.

If we all knew what was happening from 2000 to 2009 we would not be where we are today.

Our ancient ancestors had solved the issue correctly with the exile, the Americans with the limited tenure and our younger ancestors with the “black”.

“Democratic Defense”, exile, limited tenure and “black” are the weapons of Democracy and society.

If we do not re-establish democracy, if we do not build true democratic parties that will operate with real democratic processes and if we do not institutionalize political engagement as a lucrative profession for some, we will never see fate in the sun and then we are accomplices in the crime of political apathy. and worthy of our fate

We do not expect to agree on everything, but we want to know their positions. We want to offer in public debate. Democracy is not an empty shirt and nothing else. We and our fellow citizens will return, when and where needed, and insist:

Kotzabasides and their collaborators are the dirtiest words in the Greek language. Our people used to say briefly “what Braimis, what Zaimis!”

In the above photo is the prostitute, Ioannis Logothetis, prefect of Livadia. Painting by Louis Dupre. Comments are unnecessary.

Euripides used to say to us “Olvius that History has Learning” (happy is anyone who knows history). We understand “People who do not know their history are doomed to extinction. That is why we must remember. “

The great Greek historian Polybius, remembering Euripides, proclaimed that he is happy, blessed, he who knows history, because history informs, enlightens, and understands, and regulates the History, which he himself writes ”.

That’s right, the Turkish occupation did a lot of damage. The current moral problems of the Greek leadership and society have deep roots and at least some are the result of four hundred years of slavery to the Turks. The Turks, like all the conquerors, needed Kotzabasids and “collaborators” to rule the enslaved Greeks. The Turks left but the Kotzabasids and the “collaborators” remained, they still live and reign today.

The problem with “collaborators” is that they are more brutal, more bloodthirsty and barbaric than the conquerors, because they want to show their bosses that they are more royal than the king. In fact, they are only interested in how they will crawl into their chairs, for their own sake and for personal gain. They live among us, they never leave, and for this reason they are hated more by the people. The “janitsaragades”, the commanders of the janissaries, were Islamized Greeks, they were the infamous bloodthirsty military wing of the Kotzabasids. Some historians report that the revolution took place mainly against them and less against the conquerors, who slaughtered the Greek people. The people referred to them when they said “slaughter with my Aga to sanctify me”.

The Kotzabasids, the “collaborators” of the conquerors and of every power today, have no sanctuary and saints, they go where there are ladles. It is a big mistake today to intentionally praise, advertise, caress conquerors, traitors and collaborators, because that is how we accept them, we show a bad course in our children, we are their friends. The collaborators with their friends are worse than the “janissaries”, they medicate and plunder the Greek society. We must isolate, condemn and despise them. The collaborators with their friends have made their estates, their plots, the ones that do not belong to them. We must change course, we must all condemn Kotzabasism and its collaborators with their friends, wherever we see it, in order to see fate in the sun one day.

Let’s read our story a bit, from the following link: ·

https://www.mixanitouxronou.gr/kakometachirisi-ke-ekmetallefsi-ton-ftochon-ragiadon-apo-tous-tourkoproskinimenous-kotzampasides/embed/#?secret=rcroIuCbLq

“The prominent or proestos or kotzambasides were the Greeks who collaborated with the Turks and exercised local rule over the Rayads.

Given that Hellenism remained enslaved for four centuries, it was very logical to cooperate with the High Gate. However, many Kotzabasids were not just collaborators of the Turks, but became tyrants of the Greeks.

They dressed in Turkish furs, behaved like Turks to assert their power, and looked down on the illiterate people, who angrily called them “Christian Turks” to insult them. ..Their job was to collect taxes and impose order, in whatever way they deemed appropriate ……………… ..

When the flame became huge lava and the revolution spread everywhere, the Kotzabasids joined and led as they had money and their own asker. They fought, not only because they too wanted the freedom and expulsion of the Turks, but because with their participation they would ensure that the next day would find them again prominent and privileged.

As the French Consul in Ioannina, Pouqueville, wrote: “When the Kotzabasids talk about freedoms, it is not to improve the position of the people, but to put themselves in the place of the Turks.”

From the following link:

“Each village and town had its own prostate, which came from the elders. The prostitute held the seal of the community, had both administrative and judicial jurisdictions, usually of a criminal nature, thus smoothing out any disputes between his fellow citizens but also with the right to impose some punishments, always following the local customary law. In the exercise of his duties he was surrounded by a special council of elders. For important issues, however, incl It convened a general assembly of the inhabitants where the relevant decisions were taken.

Elsewhere it is reported that they were elected directly by the local community, not by voting but by open air, between March 1 and April 23 (St. George) at the invitation of the outgoing protesters. Their term was for a year or more as long as they had the mutual trust and there was no reaction, while elsewhere there is an election by the elders of the villages (of the region) who represented as the second level of self-government (with the first the elders). Their election was then ratified by the Ottoman governor of the Pasha region, or Vali, recognizing their office having previously paid the entire annual corresponding tax of their communities, which was then collected by the inhabitants.

In particular, the prostitutes were those who, on behalf of the Ottoman administration, first assessed the tax potential of each member of their society and then compiled the tax lists and proceeded to collect the corresponding taxes. At the same time, they were responsible for maintaining order and accountable to the Ottoman administration.

Finley writes: “The prostitutes of Greece were the substitute of an aristocracy. The protection of the Ottoman government gradually created a Greek aristocracy of administrative bodies and tax collectors. The moral and political position of this class was perfectly rendered with their name as a kind of Christian Turks. “

“Or there were many who proved to be far inferior to their mission, often surpassing even the worst Turks, in selfishness and arbitrariness, the proverbial phrase” what Braimis, what Zaimis! “, (= What Ibrahim Pasha, the same and Zaimis). ”

Partners for a bite of bread and self-interest sell themselves to the authorities Kozambassism is the nation’s worst cholera and Turkish curse. Society despises, disapproves of collaborators and considers them traitors and nightmares.

We want to mention that the words, kotzambasides and collaborators, are the dirtiest words in the Greek language.

Citizens read our history, open their eyes and ears, and draw their own conclusions about everything.

The end of the American Empire and the disgrace of the Latins.

The fall of Constantinople to the Ottomans in 1453 was described as “the disgrace of the Latins” and is relevant today for many reasons.

The events in Afghanistan concern us and will affect us directly. We have recently read many analyzes and many books are being prepared in the press at this time for the beginning of the end of American hegemony. It is to this day the unwritten law of history, empires finally fall to come new. It is also true that when empires fall, times are difficult and dangerous.

Undoubtedly, American policy has “deliberately” failed for the last fifty years, as far as third parties are concerned, because the goal of the Americans was not to save the peoples and the world but to look after their own “national interest”. in the former Persia (which became Iran), in Iraq, in Libya, in Africa, in Syria, in Afghanistan. They failed abroad because they embraced Orwell’s prophecy that “war is uninterrupted” continues and must continue.

America is currently being challenged abroad but the biggest problem is that it is being challenged mainly at home. The institutions of the American nation are being challenged by the American people. America abroad is blamed for interfering in the internal affairs of others and also at the same time unfortunately it is blamed by the same critics for not intervening.

We will not guess here the exact date for the end of American hegemony. Our subject is the East and the barbarians.

The “Latins” or the “West” today start from Moscow, Berlin, Paris, London and reach as far as New York and Los Angeles.

The fall of Constantinople to the Ottomans in 1453 was described as “the disgrace of the Latins”. The Ottomans, undisturbed by the civil wars between the Praetorian emperors, began their own grand plan to take the city, which had begun before 1204 and was completed almost 300 years later, something the Latins of disgrace do not understand today.

America has failed in Afghanistan, (because it intervenes or does not intervene), but the “West” and the great Europe of “letters and culture” are strangely silent and tolerate today’s barbarians, with all the consequences for humanity and world culture. Words are not enough, it is required concrete actions.

The “marbled King” emperor Constantine Paleologos exclaimed loudly before his impending death.

“Does not exist a Christians to take my head from me?”

On May 29, 1453 “Polis Ealo”, but fortunately the war by a few fanatics continues today, let our friends in the “west” wake up one day to avoid their own fall and the second and last disgrace of the Latins.

See the link.

On May 29, 1453 “Polis Ealo”, but the war continues today.

Zavitsa is our mountain that we all have to climb sooner or later.

It is time to decide to go up to Zavitsa to see the world better, with our own eyes. The view from Zavitsa is wonderful and is waiting for us to enjoy it.

Zavitsa is our mountain that we all have to climb sooner or later to be able to gaze at the view and see the world with a different eye. There are people beyond Zavitsa, who can teach us a lot.

Zavitsa is a great physical and mainly spiritual obstacle that we must soon overcome. The unknown frightens us all, we do not know what obstacles and dangers we will find in front of us. When we start trying to get out of our little world, the world of convenience, the world that the authorities tell us “we are as good as we are”, we are afraid. They like it and above all it serves them, to listen to them meekly and to do what they tell us. Let’s say it was written by the “newspapers”, it was also said by “the television” (or the idiot box as our elders call it), I saw it on the “internet” the younger ones say, all this is correct as some literate people serve it to us good volunteers ”. They tell us cleverly that we do not need to think again and it is still wrong to ask questions or to take public positions, to question their “powers”.

Our tradition, manners and customs are indisputable values that have been tried for thousands of years and we must respect and follow them. They are like the old tiles of our old houses that will never be damaged by any glacier, as is usually the case with all the new things that spoil quickly, because deliberately modern businessmen now make them fake, so that we can quickly get new ones and earn more. We are not talking about them.

We talk about the new ideas that are served to us every day by all the well-meaning volunteers who tear up to help us and voluntarily offer with a smile to still think about us, and all this they do for a simple reason their own interest, that’s why they smile, their joy it is not hidden.

It is time to decide to go up to Zavitsa to see the world better, with our own eyes. It is time to walk uphill and overcome the small obstacles that we will find in front of us. It is time to say we are free from everything, it is time to see everything with our own eyes and understand them as we can, we no longer need the well-meaning “experts” to explain anything to us, we have had enough, they have saved us enough, we have understood now because they smile non-stop where they pose incessantly.

The revolution of 1821 after four hundred years of slavery and darkness, a unique phenomenon in world history, took place because there were still people like Kolokotronis or Papaflessas, who not only set us free, but left us legacies that we must remain free even today.

Papaflessas was sent by the Friendly Society to the Peloponnese to observe if there were conditions for the revolution to begin. When he met the enslaved Greeks he called them. What are you still waiting for, alas if you are late, the revolution has started in Odessa and we will soon enter Istanbul. When he returned to Odessa to tell his partners what he saw in the Peloponnese, he told them, “What are you waiting for? Woe to you if you are late.

When the revolution in the second year showed the difficulties that existed, our English friends sent an admiral to reconcile the wars. The admiral met the old man of Moria in Nafplio and asked him to reconcile with the Turkish conquerors and the old man of Moria .

– We never surrendered, we fought the Turkish conquerors non-stop for four hundred years in the plains and mountains, and to better understand the admiral continued. Fire and ax to the collaborators of the conquerors. The admiral understood well and the meeting ended quickly.

We still have many difficulties today. We alone will decide like Papaflessas to become masters in our place, let us not wait for the sharks to decide for us, and like Kolokotronis we know the difficulties we will all never surrender to anyone. We will not eat, nor will we accept without protest, the unjustified decisions of all kinds of managers and we will take back what belongs to us. We will take matters into our own hands, no one else will do it for us.

From now on we will decide whether to buy Mercedes for show with loans or because “everyone has it”, or we will keep our bike or donkey to cross five minutes later. We will decide what the “competent managers” will do and what our representatives will say.

We will not sell out, nor will we give it our all for a handful of euros, for a chair or a bite of bread.

Once we have made that decision, from now on we will think about what all the well-meaning volunteers, the “idiots”, our politicians, the “competent managers” of our plots are telling us. We will decide what to do about everything.

There are people beyond Zavitsa who can teach us a lot. Zavitsa is our mountain that we all have to climb sooner or later, to see the world better, with our own eyes.

Words fly, writings remain” and the Business Program of our municipality

You can not manage what you do not count” Peter Drucke

The Romans are known to the world for Roman Law. The Greeks discovered it and said it all, but first of all law is the boast of the Romans.

The Romans said. Verba volant, scripta manent

 “Words fly, writing stays”

The meaning is that spoken words can be easily forgotten, but written words are always there for proof.

But literally the actual impact and results from the written texts are significant. It is an indisputable fact that writing improves our thinking, ultimately makes us better and more effective.

It is no coincidence that advanced companies in the west no longer use phones between associates and team members, they used to call them employees, they are old obsolete tools in the history lockers and they just don’t have phones, you read correctly, they don’t have phones. Communications between partners are done in writing and electronically and there is continuity with customers leaving messages on the machines, sending orders electronically and to our personal grandchildren sending us thousands of text messages for everything …., a new brave world. ….

We welcome the Business Plan 2020-2024 of our municipality. Eventually we will all benefit, but first we must learn to make it better and above all to apply it CONFIDENTLY, and “to do what we say”.

It comes from welfare states that apply transparency to all. It is an institution in accordance with European and Greek legislation and has a great deal to do with NSRF funding, if you can do otherwise. Our Municipality is obliged to apply it “in written words” first and later with “works”. Its goal is, someday we must all learn to act according to the common mind and the obvious things we have agreed to be in order to be effective. In short “to do what we say”

Here we want to mention that 5-6 years ago we started in good faith to “record” and comment publicly on the issues that in the opinion of our local community we should “study” and correct and continue unabated with passion as best we can . The writings remain and will be in front of us every time.

We do not want to diminish, criticize or blame anyone. They are all our friends in the same boat. But always in good faith for our common interest “we will say the figs figs” and we will not change now. and sometimes “bitten black”.

For our well-known published reasons, let’s not say it all here, with passion and dedication we created our websites https://astrosgreece.gr and recently https://astrosgr.com/

, who temporarily say almost the same but their goals are different and will evolve soon with the help of thousands of our visitors. We deposit, we count, we record, we study and we do not stop saying “the figs figs”.

We have recently and timely submitted our views on the “written” Business Program of our municipality and we call on our fellow citizens to actively participate. They know everyday life and problems better than anyone. And we all agree, “the writing stays, the words fly” and we will find everything in front of us.

From our municipality

“Our Municipality is moving forward with a plan and organization to be able to solve important problems in the area by utilizing all available sources of funding.

But above all with a vision for a Municipality:

• friendly to residents and attractive to visitors,

• with identity and respect for our cultural heritage,

• which utilizes its comparative advantages,

• which is a modern administrative, sports and spiritual center,

• which promotes dialogue, consensus and the synthesis of views “

Let us re-read something that is important in our opinion.

An introductory summary of the Operational Program contains the central objectives of the municipality concisely, specifically, sharply and clearly, for all to understand, our fellow citizens and especially the Board of Directors who should know when invited to vote (probably will not study 193 pages .. let’s be honest).

It is the job of our municipality to tell us what are the comparative advantages and characteristics of our municipality and it is obliged by law to record them briefly and in detail in the Operational Program 2020-2024

For example below we describe what a summary is.

“But above all with a vision for a Municipality:

• which utilizes its comparative advantages “.

• Our municipality “is close to everything and haswe are all “, the Argolic and our fantastic clean beaches, great history, many historical and archeological monuments, our mountains, our castles and our monasteries.

• The airport is 200 km away from Astros, the most important archeological sites of our homeland are near us, our “island” Paralio Astros has nothing to envy from the “Aegean our islands” and our beaches are clean and charming, in the historical Astros of Kynouria the Second National Assembly of the Greeks took place in 1823, Agiannis was the capital of the Greek revolutionaries in 1822, on the bright peak of Parnon, by the light of the second sun or by the light of the moon, the gods walked, in 1826 in castle of Paralio ‘Astros the Agiannite general Panos Zafeiropoulos the Akouros defeated Ibrahim and Parnonas was named “the Holy Mountain of Southern Greece”, we have many historical monasteries and churches.

We can do better, be well.

The website of our municipality is incomplete and needs “a little work”

In astrosgreece.gr “We do not intend, we do not want, we do not attempt and we can not replace our municipality, which undoubtedly has or should have the first say in the promotion and development of our place. Our visitors will always look first at the website of each municipality, when they are looking for where to spend their holidays in our homeland, this will never change. We hope that our municipality will one day understand the obvious. Let’s start with the easy, a post on the website of the municipality with a few words and two photos about the obvious, about what we have and the whole dunia knows about us, about the most important monuments of our place, about what we supposedly “celebrate” που, which they are here and we will find them in front of us, they are no longer hidden ”..”

In the end, what matters is what others do and especially those responsible for the issues, not only us, it is not enough what we do, we want many others to help to promote our place.

Many times in the past we have dealt with the website of our municipality with references to the municipality and public interventions, because we know that the website of the municipality is of course of primary importance for the development of our place. In January 2020 we did a systematic work with four public interventions (in the following links) with specific proposals while recording the pearls of the website, with the aim of course to be corrected soon. Some small corrections have been made in the last year but unfortunately strangely nothing has been done about the larger pearls. That is why we are coming back.

The following are from reports and public interventions.

“We have emphasized that Culture, Tourism and the coveted and much-discussed Development, are interrelated concepts and tourism helps catalytically or more correctly” lives “the coveted Development. The development of the local community will never come, when the leaders of our society “do not shake their hands”… and we will all drown… “Let’s say something else that has to do with the above.

In the digital age of globalization we all have to use new technologies if we do not want to miss the train of history that will pass in front of us whistling three times for those who hear it. Technology is popular and everyone today talks about it for two reasons, it is cheap and effective, with a little money we can achieve many, many times, for many years. Technology is the website of our municipality that we can achieve much and more if we build it “smartly” with little money, we will all benefit many times and our children will also benefit. “Smart” is synonymous with “technology” here, the goal is “cheap and effective”.

We do not know everything, we are not fans of technology and tourism, but we found that the website is incomplete and needs “a little work”… We will mention and comment only on the issues that in our opinion we need to look again and do Better yet, since we spent our time, we will record them here as a list for future consideration, they may be useful to those in charge of our website, when one day they decide to fix the website of our municipality. “Our fellow citizens, who can and want to say something with written reports, let them submit it to our municipality, we believe that if it has value it will certainly be taken into account by those in charge.”

“It is inconceivable on the website of a municipality not to have a page for the capital of the municipality with a small text, specifically for Astros, and to have pages that become links to 11 other villages of the municipality, this is a world record of amateurism, narrow-mindedness and crookedness.

In the category “Sights” on the page “Archaeological Sites and Museums”, there are only five, Greek (or Wall), Memorial Foundation “Angeliki and Leonida Zafeiri”, Villa Herod Atticus, Port of Agios Andreas, Castle of Paralio Astros “

Archaiological Sights & Museums | DiscoverKynouria.gr

With a delay of 8 years and 1,000 pages please post about a year ago on the page Archaeological Sites and Museums finally a photo of the Archaeological Museum of Astros, let the text be wrong …. Thank you mayor !!!

“On a different page below on the website of our municipality we counted 39” Sights “for our entire municipality, such as the Gorges of Mazia and Zarbanitsa, but we did not find anything anywhere for the Archaeological Museum of Astros and the two most important monuments of our municipality, the Karytsiotis School of Agiannis with its branch in Astros (which houses the Astros Museum) and the “Holy Space” of the 2nd National Assembly of the Greeks,

Sights | DiscoverKynouria.gr

Below we list our biggest mistakes and suggestions. Once we have spent our time we will publish the details in the next three a texts to document with concrete examples what we say and what we suggest, for those who are interested in learning the details and possibly for the users of the website of our municipality. “....” we will record them here as a list for future consideration, they may be useful to the people in charge of our website, when one day they decide to correct the website of our municipality. “

The trap of studying the pretext of static adequacy.

Briefly, among other things, we have submitted the following to the Ministry of Culture.

With the YPPOT / DAVMM / 91790 2329 BC-12-01-2011 decision was approved the “Study for the Removal of the Archaeological Museum of Astros with conditions (ΑΔΑ-4Α9Γ-99) and on 22-04-2013 the Programmatic Cultural Development Contract was signed for the execution of the project between the former YPAITHPA, the Peloponnese Region and the Municipality of North Kynouria. The approved works started in April 2014 and were completed in December 2015.

On 12-1-2011 with ΑΔΑ-4Α9Γ-99 the Ministry of Culture set the terms of the project including the following.

“8. To prepare a complete and integrated study for the fixing and restoration of the monument for its operation as a modern museum”.

“.… .Ἀ) Static adequacy check of the bearing body and a complete study of fixing and restoration of the monument that will determine the necessary repair and reinforcement works such as… ..”

After 2015 with other documents the Ministry of Culture stated that the Museum is ready to reopen.

1) On 22-7-2016 with the document Α.Π. ΥΠΠΟΑ / ΓΔΑΠΚ / ΕΦΑ ΑΡΚΑΔΙΑΣ 244604/146538/2951, among others it states “εγκ The approved works started in April 2014 and were completed in December 2015 ″…. at the exhibition site. The Museum is ready to reopen but there is no permanent daily staff “….

2) On 12-01-2017 with the document Α.Π. ΥΠΠΟΑ / ΓΔΑΠΚ / ΕΦΑΑΡΚ / 1616971/30 “We also point out that since December 2015 the Museum was restored and is ready to operate after the execution of the repair work on the shell of the building (see the number ΥΠΠΟΑ / ΓΔΑΠΚ / ΕΦΑ -301900-180956-3709 / 15-11-2016 our document) ”….

3) On 17-05-2017 with the document Α.Π. YPPOA / GDAPK / EFARK / 147627/93905/1341

4) On 18-5-2018.… With the document Α.Π. ΥΠΠΟΑ / ΓΔΑΠΚ / ΕΦΑΑΡΚ / 218494/158967/1928… ”Our Service has made sure that the Museum is open in specific cases, having regular amulet staff from the Archaeological Museum of Tegea. Astros Museum will be open during the months of May-August 2018. Finally, our Ephorate is waiting for the Announcement of ASEP for permanent prison staff at the Astros Museum ”… ..

5) On June 20, 2018 “with the no. 8Κ / 2018 Announcement of ASEP (Government Gazette 19 / τ ASEP / 20-6-18> the filling of a permanent position of regular daily guardian of antiquities is requested for the Archaeological Museum and Astros Sites

We read the following in the local electronic press and these are required by the local community.

“We hope that an employee will be placed in the Museum of Astros in order for the placement to open permanently and to operate the Museum and the Holy Space of the Second National Assembly of the Greeks in Astros.

We would like to inform you that the file with the thousands of signatures of the residents of the area was submitted to the Ministry of Culture and the history of the problem that the area is facing with the closed archeological museum was mentioned. (Protocol number of the document 2 / 12-9-2018) “

Let us know how much money the project cost the Ministry of Culture with the Ministry of Culture / DAVMM / 91790 2329 BC-12-01-2011 decision for the “Study for the Removal of the Archaeological Museum of Astros with conditions (ΑΔΑ-4Α9Γ-99) that the project was finished and was approved in 2015 by three public bodies, the former YPAITHPA, the Peloponnese Region and the Municipality of North Kynouria.

We ask, finally, why did the Ministry of Education and Science spend the money it spent with the Ministry of Culture / DAVMM / 91790 2329 BC-12-01-2011 decision with conditions (ΑΔΑ-4Α9Γ-99)?

How many static studies were done after the delivery and receipt of the project?

We remind you that we have submitted, prot. Number 109057, date of issue 14/03/2018, to the Ministry of Culture and Sports the many and continuous contradictions of EFAARK.

We are waiting for your reasoned answer for our report of 13 October -2020 (reference number: 568072 with the completion of 18 October 2020 in a reasonable time.

In the new era, sooner or later the state will stop guarding 4 walls and we must all understand the new reality, how we must adapt accordingly and “do what we can” if we want to survive as a nation.

Simply put, if we do not have money, we must decide whether to lock the sanctuary forever or open the site without guards and supervisors. The common mind will sooner or later prevail and the Sacred Space will be opened definitively and irrevocably.

As we understand, there was never a decision to close the “Holy Space” of the “B” National Assembly. by the competent authority of the Ministry of Culture. Πι

When an employee died, he closed the “Holy Space” one day because he wanted to and since then he has kept the space closed unjustifiably, and at worst, perhaps without a decision by the competent authority of the Ministry. Who would dare to decide in writing and institutionally to close the “Sacred Space” and who would find even an excuse to justify this decision ?. The “Holy Space” of the “B” National Assembly is abusively closed, with what we know today, without the appropriate procedures and without the observance and implementation of the regulations of the Ministry of Culture.

Basically, the closure of the space is contrary to the basic principles of the Ministry of Culture and contrary to the principle of promoting our cultural heritage. There is no reason and no excuse for the space to be closed. The Ministry of Culture must find reasons to open the “Holy Space” of the Second National Assembly of the Greeks.

The Director of the Office of the Minister and the Ombudsman, re-read the same answers above and insist “please for the answer to the interested party” and “provide a detailed written answer” that we are still waiting… ..

The Archaeological Museum of Astros, the courtyard of the school and the separate neighboring “Holy Space” of the Second National Assembly of the Greeks is a modest, harmonious and imposing space, a museum in itself.

We kindly ask you to open the three separate spaces permanently and irrevocably or to give us a reasoned answer to the positions of the Ministry of Culture.

The “Holy Space” of the Second National Assembly of the Greeks
The courtyard of the Karytsiotis school (of the Archaeological Museum of Astros)
The Archaeological Museum of Astros
Yours sincerely,

We must one day say it all “in writing, openly and publicly”

Five questions for our Mayor, our deputy mayors, the members of the Board of our municipality, our fellow citizens, the Secretary General of Culture of the Ministry of Culture (not his subordinates, mercy now) AND THE COMMON MIND.

1) What should we do today as a society for the following official decision of EFARC.

“In case a new study is not prepared or can not be prepared by the end of the year, our Service, within its responsibilities and due to the pending issuance of a conclusion on the static adequacy of the building, will include in the Action Plan for the new year for the relocation of the exhibits and other findings from the building of the Archaeological Museum of Astros to a safe place of supervision. ” (23.09.2019)

2) To inform us how much money the project cost the Greek state with the YPPOT / DAVMM / 91790 2329 BC-12-01-2011 decision for the “Study for the Removal of the Archaeological Museum of Astros with conditions (ΑΔΑ-4Α9Γ-99) that The project was completed and approved in 2015 by three public bodies, the former YPAITHPA, the Peloponnese Region and the Municipality of North Kynouria.

3) Why did the Ministry of Culture spend the money with the Ministry of Culture / DAVMM / 91790 2329 BC-12-01-2011 decision with conditions (ΑΔΑ-4Α9Γ-99)?

4) Answer us with reasons if the actions of the Ministry of Culture from 2011-2015 upon receipt of the project in accordance with the decision ΥΠΠΟΤ / ΔΑΒΜΜ / 91790 2329 πέ-12-01-2011 and the terms (ΑΔΑ-4Α9Γ-99) were they wrong or right?

5) What did the Ministry of Culture / DABMM / 91790 2329 provide for studies on 12-01-2011 in terms (ΑΔΑ-4Α9Γ-99). How many studies were done from 2014 until today for the approval of the project, when were they done and how much did each study cost? Also how many studies need to be done in the future to open the Museum or what else we need to do.

Public letter to the Deputy Mayor Mr. Georgios Gardikiotis, responsible of Tourism.

Public letter to the Deputy Mayor Mr. Georgios Gardikiotis, responsible of Tourism.

Mr. Deputy Mayor, let us once say things in public and openly with their name and the figs figs.

We saw the show ERT landmarks for “Pyramia” and we saw the pictures during the whole show and when our mayor spoke AND WE GOT A STROKE SHAME AND SHAME ON ERT. We also saw in the show, which was done in an exemplary way, unfortunately only for Epidaurus and Troizina, the big difference …….

For those who want to see with their own eyes the disgrace of deception and misinformation, take a look at the link.

https://www.ertflix.gr/ellinika-docs/toposima-toy-1821/toposima-toy-1821-epidayros-astros-troizina/?fbclid=IwAR1hHDuwJfT4BwiwN6G8GXUZjYZwbgvv8HHx

The local community of Astros is temporarily not considering investigating the criminal charges against all those who participated in the show for spreading false news, for a hole in the water. There are many elements and fortunately for very few, who have been isolated from the local community in Astros and Paralio Astros.

In addition to the above responsibilities there are other more important responsibilities that are administrative, ethical, social and political. There is also the dignity that we have and must have in society. The local community is well aware of the facts, has its own rules and does not ask anyone for their opinion. In the end, it makes final decisions. Regardless of the details, the responsibility for the show the 1821 “Astros” landmarks belongs to the mayor and the deputy deputy mayor who approved the show with their presence and if they disagreed with something they had to say it publicly during the show or later.

Let us not hide, the local community says openly and secretly, our mayor and his deputy mayor of “pyramia” planned to put Mr. Kouklis, the wolf to guard the sheep, who publicly devalues the issue of the show, the National Assembly, for the unique reason that the National Assembly took place in the historic Astros, (also not “accidentally” our fellow citizens were found to say “it was cursed”), which with many half-truths (worse than big lies), issues unrelated to the issue of the show about constitutions and the landmarks, and false news divides and angers the local community and in the end like “the donkey calls the rooster’s big head” and throws his responsibilities where he can and “shouts like a thief to leave the household”.

.

The photo from Astros tis ThalassiS, Historical Photo Album for Paralio Astros

In our small society we know very well what is happening around us. We also know that you were a member of the Board. of the Pyramia group, which aims to “rewrite” our history, and we know who is the president of the group. The direct or indirect assignment by the competent deputy mayor, who knew or should have known a lot, who at the same time is a member or was a former member of the Board. of the Pyramia group, to Mr. Koukli, president of the Pyramia group, “to advertise the pyramia” in the above show about the landmarks of 1821 and to misinform the viewers with many irrelevant inaccuracies and half-words, “this is where the National Assembly took place” … ( here but where …, the walls and walls do not move with anything, not even with lies) is also a “conflict of interest”, not of course in the legal sense but the moral and social meaning, that as a responsible deputy mayor you have the sole responsibility and you are an accomplice in the eyes of the local community.

We ask if the following three big lies are a spread of false news according to Greek law and if they are divisive for the local community.

1) Astros and Paralio Astros.

From Astros tis Thalassis (Άστρος της Θαλάσσης)

“In Astros, (today’s Paralio Astros) one of the most important events of the first months of the Revolution of 1821 took place.”

2) The Castle of Paralio Astros (as correctly mentioned by the Ministry of Culture, on the website of our municipality and in any other publication that exists on the planet earth), is mentioned illegally, falsely and insidiously in the above show several times, even when you spoke, as “Astros Castle” with the well-known misleading and misinformation implication, contrary to the official position of the Municipality of North Kynouria and the Greek state.

3) In a large part of the show, deliberately “we said other things and showed other things”, such as when the show started, which wrote with the first misleading of the viewers, “ASTROS 2nd National Assembly March April 1823” and deliberately showed wrong images of Paralio Astros and this is the definition of misinformation. The mayor, who, unlike the other mayors, spoke very little, “wore a hat” and when he was talking about the National Assembly or other issues, the images of the show deliberately showed Paralio Astros or Atsiganos . Also when you talked about Astros, “it was non-partisan … and safe” images of the show showed Parlio Astros and Atsiganos. Admittedly smart work to deceive and misinform viewers of the show, who do not know the details. There are great and many responsibilities here for many.

Let’s stop spreading false news, misleading and misinforming viewers and let’s add something also important.

You mentioned that the politicians were “in Agiannitika Kalivia” and the military were in Meligiotika Kalivia in “today’s village of Meligou”, as the Pyramia group with its few members says every day in the cafes. You “forgot” as deputy mayor in charge of Tourism of the Municipality of North Kynouria to add the whole truth “in Agiannitika Kalivia, in today’s Astros Kynouria, the capital of our municipality”, as did all the mayors of the show for the other villages and “Today’s Meligou” !!! The local community knows the truth of half-truth and does not eat weeds.

We do not know the details of the other big insult and shame, which you secretly and insidiously plan to become a “Digital Museum” in Paralio Astros and for the National Assembly. When you decide to inform the local community about all the details and issues of the proposed Museum we will comment accordingly. All over the world, museums are located next to historical monuments.

Let us recall the truth about Paralio Astros and the Greek legislation for the name Astros.

Essentially, Paralio Astros was built from 1825 and later by the Agiannitis general Panos Zafeiropoulos, as our Paraliotes, “SETTLEMENT OF ASTROS BEACH”, honor with a statue in the central square.

It is no coincidence that in the electoral list of 1871 of Paralio Astros ,Anastasios Paschos from Agiannis a landowner, is the first to be mentioned.

Administrative changes of the Local Authorities of D. Thyreas, Prefecture of Arcadia

Government Gazette 16A – 24/05/1835 Establishment of the municipality based in the settlement of Agios Ioannis

Government Gazette 5A – 08/03/1841 The settlement of Astros is defined as the winter seat of the municipality, The settlement of Agios Ioannis is defined as the summer seat of the municipality

With the actions of the Zafeiropoulos, the settlement named Paralio Astros was annexed to the municipality of Thyreas in 1845, because it simply did not exist earlier in 1835 or 1841 …

ADMINISTRATIVE CHANGES IN SETTLEMENTS Paralion Astros (Arcadia)

Government Gazette 32A – 08/12/1845 The settlement is annexed to the municipality of Thyreas

Government Gazette 252A – 24/08/1912 The settlement is detached from the municipality of Thyreas and is designated as the seat of the community of Paralio Astros

In our municipality today there are officially the communities of Astros and Paralio Astros.

This is the Greek legislation and the reality, the conversation about the name Astros officially ended 180 years ago and the name Paralio Astros officially exists for a specific settlement 176 years ago, after the settlement of Akouros.

Let’s see “the photos at the end of the 19th century” for Paralio Astros, after the settlement of Zafeiropoulos and let’s count the houses ….. they say it all ..

Let us not fool the world with maps of castles and rocks without inhabitants. Also Estella Castle or Oria Castle is located in Xirokambi. The inhabitants are the “states”, says Thucydides, not the cities and the castles. There are no villages without inhabitants from Nikias to Akouros. On the hill of Paralio Astros there is the Castle of Paralio Astros, as correctly mentioned by the Ministry of Culture and on the website of our municipality, which was also named Estella by the Venetians, as we see in the maps that some interpret according to their interest.

We read and listen in the public debate and the press every day to the “experts” who made science and change the meaning of words and facts, as it suits them best. “Thucydides outlines the distorting effects of the moral and political crisis on the use of language:” and the arbitrary claim of names in works was exchanged for justification. “They changed the established meaning of words, depending on how it suited them.”

Mr. Deputy Mayor, let’s get to that.

It is easy to throw mud in the fan to be manges, but sometimes we have to suggest solutions, otherwise we become graphic.

We do not know what feasible and legal solution to the issue is proposed by the Pyramia group. It seems that neither the group knows nor is interested in a solution. We do not think he proposes to name Astros ten square meters in Atsiganos and the matter is over.

If the members of Pyramia were honest they should suggest the name Pyramia for Paralio Astros, it would be an honor for all of us to have the ancient name of the settlement and we would not be dealing with a hole in the water today.

Mr. Deputy Mayor, you have to choose from two options and of course you have the right to do nothing or do whatever you want.

Let me tell you about our neighbor in Soulinari in Agiannis, your late grandfather Barba George was sharp man and always said things by name.

Your first choice is to tell us publicly and openly by name.

What is the name of Paralio Astros and what is the name of Paralio Astros Castle, according to Greek legislation, we want to hear it loudly, to be heard as far as Paralio Astros.

Tell us in which “present village” the Second National Assembly of the Greeks took place and also in which “present village” the Kolokotron dinner was held in 1821 (which was what our military said, we know it “in the present village of Meligou”).

Your second option is to applaud the Pyramia and personally charge the resin for this quarrel and the silly self-shots for a hole in the water, in how many square meters is the historic Astros Kynourias. Also better to encourage the group to continue spreading false news for our collection.

We do not need to say it, but we will say it, you know the leaders go forward, “it depends on you”, (said Zaimis to the old man of Moria), to stop this disgrace, for a hole in the water. The right choice and responsibility is yours. We will find everything in front of us.

Finally we propose our own solution, to stop the quarrel for a hole in the water. Some do not know how to suggest anything and what a possible solution means, but they know very well how to shoot themselves and make holes in our boat.

Paralio Astros to be renamed Pyramia or to merge into a community with the historic Astros, to finally have a big Astros, to stop the stupid self-shots and to see fate in the sun or to isolate the “isolated and discredited” and from the local community of Paralio Astros few and let them talk in their sleep. There is no other possible solution let us not be fooled.

On the contrary, we do not stone anyone but we move our hands, so that we do not all drown ….

The visitors of our website https://astrosgreece.gr/, are numbered in thousands in almost 2 months, from the first countries are about 52% from Greece and the rest in a row from America, Canada, Australia, Germany, England, Switzerland, Cyprus, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Ireland, Finland. We have visitors from many other countries, such as China.

“We are here to inform you and to promote Astros, Thyrea, the Municipality of North Kynouria, the neighboring villages and Greece”

“Our friends and neighbors, we are all in the same boat of Thyrea, no one is left, we never drill holes, nor do we let others drill holes…, because eventually we will all sink and drown When someone visits us he does not come to see only one square, always sees more let us understand.

“Let’s put it another way and in a nutshell, it is in our interest to show” what we have “and our neighbors (and it is in our interest not to shoot ourselves).), Full stop.”

Take a look at https://astrosgreece.gr/en/

We finished, let us remind you something about the website of our municipality, that you are the deputy mayor in charge of Tourism, you owe it to us.

1) When will you post on the website of our municipality a page about Astros, the capital of our municipality, as you have for the other villages e.g. Paralio Astros

See if you have time on our page for Astros

The historic Astros of Kynouria

2) When will you post the obvious, according to your texts and photos, for the supposedly doing projects.

Archaiological Sights & Museums | DiscoverKynouria.gr

“When will you post, according to your tourism program, on the website of the municipality two photos with two words, the sign of the” Sacred Space “of the 2nd National Assembly of the Greeks, which took place in the historic Astros Kynouria, and the plaque of the Karytsiotis school in Agianni, where was the capital of our revolutionary homeland? “

3) When will you fix the following

Archaeological Museum of Astros DiscoverKynouria.gr

The school was destroyed in 1826 by Ibrahim Pasha, but was later restored by relatives of Karytsiotis. In the following years, it became a school and in 1959, ?????????? became an archeological museum. It closed in 2008 due to earthquake damage.

It was donated to the Ephorate of Antiquities by the Municipality of Astros and after significant repairs and maintenance it was transformed into a Museum of Kynouria by the curator of Antiquities Mr. Th. Spyropoulos, ???????? in the year 1985.

See our comments

Let us also mention a pearl that our municipality knows and does not care or discuss. Even today he says on his website “In the following years, it became a school and in 1959, it became an archeological museum”. 1966 was definitely not a museum, it was Lyke of Astros, I graduated in 1966 from the Lyceum of Astros. In 1959 the museum was definitely in a neighboring building of the farm.

On the contrary, we read intentionally or unintentionally inaccuracies on the website of our municipality about the museum that “rewrite” history to their liking, “was turned into a Museum of Kynouria by the curator”…. that some people think it is nothing great to advertise employees who happened to hold a position in the Ministry of Education and Science at that time and who “did not do the real job” that others started many years earlier and ended, our late respected professor “ancient Greek” Kyriakos (Koulis) Hasapogiannis, whom we “forgot” to project inaccuracies.

See our page for the Astros Archaeological Museum for the truth, all the details about the “Museum workers” and 1959.

The Archaeological Museum of Astros

4) When will you fix the following pearls

Agios Andreas DiscoverKynouria.gr

Agios Andreas The village is characterized as a “gateway” for the picturesque Kastritochoria, ?????????? since one can visit Kastanitsa, Prastos, from there, while 5 km outside the village begins the unique gorge of Zarbanitsa “.

5) When will you fix the following pearls

Lepidas Gorge DiscoverKynouria.gr The Lepida Gorge, although not very big, has a wonderful natural beauty. To reach the gorge you have two options either from Kato Doliana ?????????? or from Kastritochoria ??????????

Let’s put it another way because you do not download the website of our municipality better, until you think about what you should post.

By the way, let us remind you of a demand of our citizens, to name our municipality with its historical and real name Municipality of Thyreas, it is never too late.

Finally, we want to remind you of the legal obligations of our municipality, which does not answer justified questions to citizens even when giving the protocol numbers.

We finished and said it all

If you want, give our letter to our mayor, who will probably help him in his difficult task.

Yours sincerely

Public request to the deputy mayor Mr. Georgios Gardikiotis for the unjustified “great omission of shame”.

Mr. Deputy Mayor,

In order to survive as a society in matters of tourism we must become promoters. The local community is entitled and expects more.

Let us remind you and also remind all our fellow citizens the following, from your tourism program, that you submitted to our fellow citizens and asked for their mandate to implement it.

“Our intention is also to redesign and implement infrastructures that facilitate the access of visitors to the important monuments of our place and historical sites (eg area of the 2nd National Assembly, Castle at Paralio Astros, etc.) and to create a grid of permanent fixed points. information throughout the Municipality. “

We have institutionally asked our municipality and we are patiently and politely waiting for the common mind.

“When will you post, according to your tourist program, on the website of the municipality two photos with two words, the sign of the” Sacred Space “of the Second National Assembly and the plaque of the Karytsiotis school in Agiannis?”

Let’s put it another way, as you say, you facilitate the access of the visitors to the important monuments of our place and you create fixed points of information throughout the Municipality, when you do not make a post on the website of the municipality, almost without money, for something self-evident, according to your and our mayor’s recent public post with photos and comments on the importance of these monuments. Our fellow citizens justifiably call all this, the unjustified “great omission of shame”.

The “Holy space” of the 2nd National Assembly of the Greeks is here, in front of us, in the historic Astros, Greece “Greece 2021”

WE WAIT WAITINGLY FOR THE COMMON MIND.

How to do it and many of our fellow citizens in the vast majority, let not all of our fellow citizens say, we do not believe that the most important sights of our municipality to be mentioned on the website of our municipality are the Port of Agios Andreas, the Greek (or Wall ), the ruins of the Castle of Oria, the Gorges of Mazia and Zarbanitsa, but they are much more important that should also be mentioned the two most important monuments of our municipality the “Holy Space” of the 2nd National Assembly of the Greeks and the School of Karytsiotis with its branch in Astros (which houses the Astros Museum), full stop and pavilion.

Archaiological Sights & Museums | DiscoverKynouria.gr

WE DO NOT FORGET ANYTHING AND WE ARE NOT ASHAMED TO SAY THE SAME UNTIL THE COMMON MIND PREVAILS.

WE WILL FIND IT ALL IN FRONT OF US, IT’S HERE.

We reiterate and remind the right to report to the authorities, in order to be better understood by all, our elected officials, public officials and politicians have a political, social and moral obligation to answer to the citizens and tell them the truth.

Right of petition to the authorities, our municipality and the “pretext of statics”.

Let’s get to that and your choices.

1) You need to implement your program with specific self-evident actions. The two most important monuments of our municipality are the “Holy Space” of the 2nd National Assembly of the Greeks and the Karytsiotis School of Agiannis, and they must be posted immediately on the website of our municipality.

2) You must answer the questions of our fellow citizens in a reasoned manner in accordance with the law.

Yours sincerely

“Epicouros: The true face of the ancient world”

Epicouros (341-270 BC)

Epicouros is still today a very misunderstood Greek philosopher, who was fought by the establishment of all times, because his teaching and his positions on the man of his time bothered some and for this reason they tried to distort it as much as they could. It would not be an exaggeration to say that most people know very little and the opposite of what the great philosopher taught. It is also true that he had many friends and faithful disciples for many centuries. Peace of mind and tranquility are the main goals of the auxiliary philosophy acquired with the Greek measure. The shopping pleasure of calm and serenity becomes the purpose of people’s lives.

I once read, fifty years ago, the following from Epicurus and it almost changed my life,

“Most people are unhappy because they care about what they do not have and are not happy about what they have.”

“It is not possible to live happily, if one does not live wisely, morally and justly, just as one cannot live wisely, morally and justly, if one does not live happily” Assistant, Mr. Glory

“The universe is infinite. We are not at the center of the universe, but we are one of the innumerable worlds of a vast universe. ”

We understand, “we are not the center of the world”, we are very insignificant.

A great figure in world history, Thomas Jefferson (April 13, 1743 – July 4, 1826), the third President of the United States. (1801-1809) and lead author of the Declaration of Independence, had written: “

“As you say about yourself, so I am an Epicurean. I believe that the authentic (not the fake) teaching of Epicurus contains everything logical from the practical philosophy left to us by Greece and Rome “

For those who want to know more and the truth about Epicurus I unreservedly recommend the book by Ch. Theodoridis,

“Assistant: The true face of the ancient world”

Ch. Theodoridis, a professor at the University of Thessaloniki, tells us

“The book began to be born from the moment the charming figure of Epicouros appeared in my mind. Even today, after the deeper work on the heritage of the Ancients, few imagine the exceptional position of Epicurus in the intellectual life of the ancient world. Many, most of those who met with love and understanding the Ancients, who were fascinated by the beauty of speech, chisel and contemplation, do not suspect that what they loved is a face, not the good, the most genuine of what we call Greek Ancient times.

The ancient world came to us sadly shattered. Many of his written monuments were lost, buildings collapsed, statues and vases were dismembered and buried under soil or under later buildings. But most sadly, the heritage of the Ancients was handed down to us mutilated, misunderstood and distorted by the generations that passed. The climate of the years after Alexander, the epigenetic temperament and the secret theocratic spirit determined the one-sided choice of the treasure of the Ancients and its reverse evaluation. “

In the above link we can also see: Letter to the Tenant: Mr. Doxai

Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy

https://plato.stanford.edu/entries/epicurus/

The philosophy of Epicouros (341-270 BC) was a complete and interdependent system that included the view of the purpose of human life (happiness, which came from the absence of physical pain and mental disorder), an empirical theory of knowledge ( senses, together with the perception of pleasure and pain, are infallible criteria), a description of nature based on atomic materialism and a naturalistic description of evolution, from the formation of the world to the emergence of human societies ”

https://el.wikipedia.org/wiki/%CE%95%CF%80%CE%AF%CE%BA%CE%BF%CF%85%CF%81%CE%BF%CF%82

“Epicouros (341 BC – 270 BC) was a Greek philosopher. He founded his own philosophical school, called Kipos tou Epikourou, which is considered one of the most famous schools of Greek philosophy.

The Auxiliary Philosophy

During the Hellenistic period, that is, the period that begins with the death of Alexander the Great (323 BC) and ends conventionally with the naval battle of Aktio, in 31 BC, the dominant position in ancient philosophy is occupied by the schools of the Stoics and of the Epicureans, in parallel with those of the Platonists, Aristotelians, Skeptics, Cynics, etc.

Epicouros and his theory focus on a moral character of philosophy. [4] Its purpose was to find the causes of human misery and the false beliefs that cause it, such as superstition, asThere should be a counter-proposal for the prospect of a pleasant life (ZIN IDEOS), for the achievement of which Epicurus offered clear philosophical advice. Life is already achieved in the absence of pain and fear and by living a life of self-sufficiency surrounded by friends.

Epicouros taught that pleasure (or, in other words, pleasure) and pain are the measure of what we should prefer and what we should avoid. A pleasure, for Epicurus, is morally legitimate and we must pursue it, since it is a means of securing our ultimate voluptuous state, which is none other than our peace of mind. Even pain, if it sometimes helps us to achieve our peace of mind, acquires a positive meaning. In the context of the moderate form of hedonism, the criterion for choosing between pleasures is no longer quantitative, that is, their intensity, but qualitative. Epicurus distinguishes the shoplifting from the moving pleasures, considering the former superior to the latter. Moving pleasures are dynamic pleasures, in the sense that when they bear fruit, one fulfills a desire that, until it was not satisfied, one felt discomfort. Satisfaction of hunger, then, during the time it takes place, is a moving pleasure. The state of calm that follows when the person is full enough, according to Epicurus, is a store form of pleasure. However, if he is seduced, eats uncontrollably and fights heavily, he will have fulfilled a moving pleasure, but not having acquired the shoplike pleasure of calm and serenity, he will be unhappy. [5]

The basic principles of his teaching are the following: – with death comes the end not only of the body but also of the soul – the gods do not reward or punish people – the universe is infinite and eternal – everything in the world happens in the end, based on the movements and interactions of people moving in empty space.

The tetrapharmacy is known, that is, the four “principles” that Epicurus put forward in a modern Greek version:

God is not for fear (because divine power does not threaten by nature),

death is not a cause for concern (because there is no life after death) •

and the good (what we really need) is easily obtained,

and evil endures (whatever makes us suffer, we can easily endure it). ”

Aeschylus and Prometheus Bound, the most important book of world culture.

Prometheus Bound by Aeschylus is the most important book of all time and all cultures, that we should all read and know.

According to the myth of Protagoras (490-420 BC), Prometheus stole from the gods Athena and Hephaestus and gave people the “artful wisdom plus fire”. Wisdom and art have allowed man to survive the wild beasts of his primitive environment, but at the same time to differentiate himself from animals in order to be able to create human civilization.

Zeus punished Prometheus for his disrespect and bravery, to free people from their shackles, not to reconcile with the misery of their situation that all the establishment tells them, but to struggle with their ingenuity and hard work to improve their living conditions.

Before the three great tragedians of the Athenian republic, Aeschylus, Sophocles and Euripides were Phrynichus and Thespis.

Aeschylus made significant changes in the tragedy and especially for his substantial and majestic contribution to the great problems of his time he is undoubtedly considered by everyone as the father of tragedy and for this he was recognized by his fellow citizens fro many years after his death.

Aeschylus (525 – 456 BC) wrote about 80 tragedies and only seven survive. (Promitheus Desmotis, Persai. Iketides, Agamemnon, Hoifori, Eumenides, Seven on Thebes).

The Athenian Republic for the education and upbringing of the citizens provided to the citizens free of charge theatrical performances of the great tragedies of the time.

Aeschylus won the first prize 28 times in the Athenian dramatic games. The Athenian Republic after his death, as a sign of honor to his face and recognition of his work, his works were played again in the Athenian dramatic games, despite the fact that in the dramatic celebrations they accepted only new works.

His work is distinguished for its magnificence, height, depth and original way.

From the New World.

“Aeschylus considered as the greatest achievement of his life his participation in the Battle of Marathon, in the Battle of Artemisio and in the Naval Battle of Salamis, which is very important for world culture.

The Sicilian Greeks erected a monument to his tomb, on which they engraved the following epigram, written by Aeschylus himself, feeling perhaps that its end was near:

“Under this stone is Aeschylus

son of Euphorion, Athenian,

lost in the grain land of Gela.

For his honored bravery he can
to speak the grove of Marathon
or the long-haired Medos who knows her well “.

The other great tragedians are Sophocles (496 BC-406 BC) who is distinguished for the beauty of tragedy and Euripides (480 BC – 406 BC) who is distinguished for the passion of tragedy .

From the trilogy of Aeschylus “Prometheus” only the second part survives, “Prometheus bound”. – The first part was “Pyrphorus Prometheus” and the third was “Prometheus detachable”.

The faces of tragedy are.

Voltaire, “the most important man of the 18th century.”

Voltaire was undoubtedly considered the most important man of the 18th century, but also of world history. His contribution to humanity is incalculable because he founded “freedom of speech”, as a basic right of every citizen of the world.

Although there was immense darkness around him, he opposed the freedom of man, condemned and condemned with his free spirit many times in a satirical way at every opportunity the establishment of his time and the monarchy. Of course for his views he was imprisoned in the Bastille for insulting the regent and the nobles and was exiled. He lived almost all over Europe, most of the years in Switzerland, as he was undesirable for his views in France and wherever he was.

The big problem with people is that most of them, as “agents”, “managers”, “rich” and “experts”, “educated” our people call them, do not deal with what should be studied. On the contrary, they deal with the wrong subjects, “luxuries and mosaics” and their tomar, they come to the wrong conclusions about the hot issues of society and many times they have an opinion for their own reasons and for what they do not have, because they know everything.

And not all of them are enough for us, we also have the “collaborators”, the gangsters and the kotzambasides who never leave our lives.

The remarkable thing is that Voltaire, although he was “rich” and “expert”, did not waste his life with aristocracy, luxuries and mosaics, but chose prisons, exiles and shook the world.

Eventually Voltaire stood up and overthrew totalitarianism and despotism in Europe and all of humanity. “It is considered the central figure and embodiment of the Enlightenment of the 18th century.”

Without Voltaire, it would be fair to say, there would be no French and American revolution, nor the modern rule of law in all of humanity as we know it today.

Below we mention views of Voltaire. The emphasis is ours.

«François-Marie Arouet (November 21, 1694 – May 30, 1778), better known by his pseudonym Voltaire, was a French writer, historian and philosopher, famous for his wit, his attacks on her Catholic Church and the defense of secularism, freedom of speech and the separation of church and state.

It is considered a central figure and embodiment of the Enlightenment of the 18th century. He is also considered – not unjustly – the most important man of the 18th century. “

Maximilian Robespierre, the “Incorruptible” and the limited term of one day.

Robespierre, the “Incorruptible”, in the time of his omnipotence has established and followed convincingly the limited term of one day, because he knew power corrupts. As much as it may seem excessive, the power he had was only for one day and was renewed every day.

“Robespierre is now considered a controversial figure. Others considered him a dictator and others a good, fiery and, above all, exemplary moral revolutionary.

The most famous version is that he was a man of unparalleled morality who, in his attempt to create an ideal world as he imagined it, was forced to exterminate his enemies, whom he considered deeply corrupt and populist, thus highlighting the contradiction between the ideal and the real. application in the relentless world of the struggle for worldly power.

Although, due to his personal honesty, his unblemished private life and his ruthless character, he had been called “incorruptible” by his contemporaries, he did not hesitate to consolidate his status, to send daily through the Revolutionary Court to the throat and throat “Hundreds of French citizens are dissidents, royalty, moderates, anarchists, thieves, suspects, men, women, and even children convicted in summary proceedings.”

“Maximilian Robespierre (May 6, 1758 – July 28, 1794) was a French politician, a dominant figure in the French Revolution of 1789.

He was born in the city of Arras on May 6, 1758 and was beheaded in Paris on July 28, 1794. He lived a very difficult and poor childhood, but he managed to study law in Paris and returned to his hometown to practice law and at the same time to study poetry and music. art, elected member of the Academy of Arras.

In 1789 he was elected a representative in the Assembly of Classes in which he did not initially receive any distinction and special attention. Only Mirabo, who was watching Robespierre’s meticulous speeches, said: “This young man will go ahead because he believes in what he says”. At that time, Robespierre was still moderate and in favor of the kingdom, and he had proposed the abolition of the death penalty.

Entering politics and rising to power

In 1789, while still opposed to the death penalty, Robespierre was elected a representative in the Assembly of Classes. Shortly afterwards the French Revolution broke out. Camille Demoulin’s friend, a dynamic young student (who was later beheaded by Robespierre) will lead those who will be the first to shout “To the Bastille!” and the people will occupy the symbol of totalitarianism, the prisons of the Bastille, on July 14, 1789.

The following year (1790) Robespierre was elected President of the left wing of the Jacobins. After 1791, the “Incorruptible”, as he used to be called, no longer has any doubt about the King’s guilt. Louis XVI is on trial and Robespierre was to say about his conviction: “The greatest criminal in the world should not be tried, he is already convicted!”. The death sentence of the King is a fact and Louis is executed on the guillotine on January 21, 1793. On June 2, with Robespierre in control of the Conventional Assembly, the Jacobins outlaw their opponents, the Girondins, and take full power.

Terrorism and new measures

Robespierre ruled for the next few months almost dictatorially, relying on new bodies, such as the Revolutionary Courts, which tried and guillotined the so-called “enemies of the people” and the powerful Common Salvation Committee. He was the “Triandria” (of which he was the leading figure) together with the close associates of Saint Just and Couton

9th Thermidor coup and the fall of the Incorruptible. The new measures provoked even greater reactions. On the 9th of Thermidor of the 2nd year of the Revolution, that is, on July 27, 1794, Robespierre appeared at the Conventional Assembly and stated that he had in his possession a list of enemies of the people, among them members of the Assembly, whom he did not mention. This meant arresting and executing them through summary proceedings. Fearing that they might be on the list, most members of the Convention caused a pandemic. and did not let the lawyer from Aras speak. Not even his friend Saint-Just, a prominent orator who seduced the crowds, could say anything. Instead, a member of the National Assembly challenged him to say the names, forcing Robespierre to be surprised and make various excuses, after which many members demanded his arrest as an enemy of the unity of the people. It was a well-organized conspiracy, which in a few moments ousted the just mighty tyrant.

Robespierre and his friends, realizing the unfavorable climate for them, will leave with difficulty with the area of the Conventional Assembly and will go to the town hall. Unfortunately for them, they seemed weak at that critical moment as well as extremely unlucky. Instead of resorting to military forces that he still controlled, Robespierre took refuge in the town hall, where there were no military forces. Also, the corps leader who ran to his aid was, although a brave officer, drunk and irresponsible, with the result that the aid was delayed at a time when most units were loyal to Robespierre and could still control the events.

Eventually, the gendarmerie raided the City Hall to arrest him, where, according to one version, a young gendarme named Merda would punch Robespierre in the jaw with a pistol. However, the prevailing version is that Robespierre injured himself. Anyway, as soon as the “Incorruptible”‘s chin was crushed, Saint Just did not bring any more resistance, Couton rolled in his wheelchair to escape and almost killed himself while sliding on the stairs, Le Ba committed suicide while his brother, Augou Robespierre was injured trying to escape from the balcony of the town hall by jumping from a high enough height on the paved road (he was not killed, because he fell on two people), while the people were watching the dramatic events icy.

Many people, supporters of Robespierre, rose up and demanded his release, while he now looked like a captured savage, surprised as he was by the unexpected turn of events, stunned, with torn clothes. Eventually, he was imprisoned in Conciergerie, next to the cell where Marie Antoinette had previously been imprisoned. You only came out of there for beheading. ”
